Leader Kim Jong-Un staged a mass rally in the capital, with dancing and fireworks lighting the streets.

Two U.S. supersonic bombers conducted live-fire drills on Saturday in South Korea in a show of force following North Korea's test-launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), the South's military said.

China strongly protested the Treasury Department's decision to sanction two Chinese individuals and a shipping company for helping North Korea with its nuclear weapons program.

"However, this is a diplomatically led global effort to stop a worldwide threat that they are bringing to bear", he added.

Despite the sabre-rattling, the United States and South Korea have said they are committed to resolving the crisis over the North's pursuit of nuclear weapons and ballistic missile peacefully.

David Finkelstein, director of China studies at Center for Naval Analyses, an Arlington, Va., non-profit think tank, said at the meeting China is facing struggles to re-examine its North Korea policy. United Nations diplomats said the U.S. had given China a draft sanctions resolution. The planes then flew close to the border before turning back to Anderson Air Base in Guam from where they were deployed.

The United States will continue to pursue diplomatic options right now with North Korea, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said at the Pentagon Thursday.

Mocking the South as "puppet military gangsters", the KCNA report added: "It will be as easy as a piece of cake for the (North) to wipe out the puppet we are now able to destroy even the USA mainland across the ocean". "This is a campaign to lead us to a peaceful resolution because if this fails, we don't have very many good options left", he said. Veteran North Korea negotiator, and former Governor of New Mexico, Bill Richardson, also criticized Trump's Twitter habits during an appearance on BBC Newsnight Thursday. Dunford predicted on June 12 that war casualties would be heavy - "and many of those casualties will be in the first three, five, seven days of the war where all those people in the greater Seoul area [are] exposed to the North Korean threat that we will not be able to mitigate initially".

Hours after North Korea's missile test, a joint statement by the foreign ministers of China and Russian Federation criticized the North Korea test launch as "unacceptable" and called it a severe violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions.

Earlier in the news conference, he said he is calling on all nations to "publicly demonstrate to North Korea that there are consequences for their very, very bad behavior".

According to Reuters, Abe told Trump that environment in Asia Pacific region which includes North Korea has become very severe due to its ballistic missile and nuclear program. Polish media reports said the government, as part of its invitation to Trump, promised the White House a reception of cheering crowds.
