Beyoncé Reveals First Photo of Sir and Rumi Carter

Beyonce has officially shared her newborn twins with the world.

The Instagram post is the first official announcement from either Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z since the birth of their twins.

Meanwhile, the celebrity couple have appealed to US Patent and Trademark Office to copyright the names of their twins, to prevent unapproved usage, reported news agency PTI. Sir Carter and Rumi join 5-year-old big sister Blue Ivy.

In the post, Beyoncé introduced her babies as "Sir Carter and Rumi".

Beyoncé announced the news that she was expecting twins in February, posting a shot of her baby bump in front of the very same flower wall.

With the two photos side-by-side, we see the similar floral background and veil atop Queen Bey's head. Mathew Knowles, Beyonce's father, confirmed the news in a tweet.

"We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for all your well wishes", she added, signing with Jay Z. Like a Madonna, dressed in a long satin stole and a turquoise veil, which cascades on its flawless curves, Mrs. Carter holds her infants against her.

The singer, 35, posted the picture on Friday, June 14, in which she stands in a Palomo Spain outfit while proudly holding her babies.

The twins reportedly left the hospital about a week after they were born to live at the family's summer Malibu mansion, known as La Villa Contenta. The caption on the photos is "I have three hearts". The photo quickly racked up more than one million views within half an hour.
