Rain chances increase throughout the weekend

Southwest winds 5 to 10 miles per hour. Humidity will be very low for August and skies will be mostly sunny so it will feel ridiculously nice all day long. The majority of the region will have temperatures stuck in the 70s today. That larger complex of storms will eventually shift into our far eastern counties late Sunday morning, but additional scattered storms will remain possible throughout the day Sunday as another cold front approaches the area. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy.

Rain returns on Monday and it could come down heavy at times, especially late Monday into early Tuesday. By Sunday morning, temps will be back to the 50s with much lower humidity.

Tuesday. Mostly cloudy. Afternoon shower/storm chance.

Monday will be partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

NIGHT: A slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

A few evening showers are possible, but for the most part, most of tonight will be dry but muggy. The average high predicted for the next few days will be closer to 90 degrees. Northeast winds 5 to 10 miles per hour. Saturday: More Clouds than Sun with Scattered Showers and Storms in the Afternoon. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Fri: High: 86 Low: 68 Mostly cloudy with storms likely. Highs will be in the upper 80s with a 40 percent chance of rain.
