Go ahead and check it out so you can enjoy your old worlds on Nintendo Switch!
In NBA 2K18 there is a title that emphasises this.
It's likely that most Nintendo titles won't require the extra memory space - the biggest game the company has released so far was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which was only 13GB.
This is quite the feat with the abovementioned publication pointing out that it only took the Switch less than seven months to attain what the PlayStation 4 achieved in nearly a year and a half.
This has already been confirmed by Mojang and 4J Studios, saying that they've implemented this ability to take the data from the Wii U Edition and transfer it over the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
Look out for Travis Strikes Again as it launches in 2018 for the Nintendo Switch. Once you see that your Wii U is trying to send the save file, you will need to select "Play Game" on your Nintendo Switch console. In fact, with the 32 Gb (about 26 Gb in reality), the Nintendo Switch has less memory than most modern smartphones, not to mention the PS4 and Xbox One, which now display a hard drive of 500 Gb or 1 Tb depending on the version. Just to illustrate this, Nintendo has formalized a partnership with SanDisk on the launch of two cards microSDXC official.
"A microSD card will be needed for certain Nintendo Switch games that contain an especially large amount of content and require additional storage for players to enjoy the full experience", a statement from Nintendo details. Even the long loading times of the PC version seemed shorter on the new Switch version.
Are these cards any better than the standard microSD cards that are available at your local Best Buy? The Nintendo consoles have a prominent place in the gaming world.
