Nemanja Matic has warned Manchester United that they can not afford too many repeats of their 2-2 draw at Stoke if they are to land the Premier League title.
United had gone 2-1 up at the bet365 Stadium when the Potters managed to head their way back into the game.
United dropped English Premier League points for the first time this season as Maxim Choupo-Moting capitalised on errors from Eric Bailly and Phil Jones to net twice either side of efforts from Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku.
MARK HUGHES was rebuffed in a second attempt to shake hands with Jose Mourinho after Saturday's touchline spat.
When Mourinho's comments were put to Mark Hughes, Stoke's manager said: "What do you think?"
The former Man United striker pushed Mourinho when he entered the Stoke technical area and Mourinho refused to shake his opposite number's hand at the final whistle because he believed he was told to "f*** off" by the Welshman.
The tiff between the pair came after Hughes had pushed Mourinho when the latter encroached into the Stoke manager's technical area.
"I prefer not to answer question about handshakes". One team tried to win, one team tried to get the point but they fought hard to get that point.
"We have to know against teams like this you have to have a little bit more, you have to be concentrated and of course we're not happy with a point".
"Yeah, it's great to see them score again and they are very important players for us", added Matic.
It's also reported that Hughes asked the referee, Neil Swarbrick, to send Mourinho to the stands following the incident.
"I don't speak about stupid things, I'm too old for that".
"Maybe it's because it has to be viewed as a negative result for him, coming to Stokewhen everybody expected them to beat us".
