Man City boss Guardiola: Alexis? We'll see in the future

Claudio Bravo has said Chile colleague Alexis Sanchez "went from happiness to bitterness" when his deadline day move from Arsenal to Manchester City collapsed.

However, Guardiola claims Arsenal wanted to make a swap deal which would have seen Raheem Sterling move to the Emirates, and the Spaniard was not in favour of that proposal.

Do you think Sanchez will join Man City in January?

'They talked to me and I said "no chance. zero chance".

Guardiola made Sanchez his primary target during the summer but would have preferred to pay straight cash for the Chilean rather than present Sterling as a swap deal.

"We tried to make an offer that they would accept, but in the end they could not sign the player they wanted and Alexis stayed with Arsenal".

The move Bravo was talking about was of course Arsenal's attempt to land Thomas Lemar, who didn't leave Monaco, and while at the time Alexis was unhappy, now he wants to get on with things and try his best for Arsenal this season before leaving in the summer.

"This time it was not possible, but hopefully we have him here in the future". "I am when the transfer window is open, but when the window closes, it's over for me and I'm it thinking about January or the end of the season". He was left out of the starting XI for the Gunners' Premier League fixture at home against Bournemouth on Saturday. "At first I thought that he had hit him in the hip, but then I saw clearly that he got him with the face", he said before explaining how he coped with the sudden call.

Ferdinand, who played for Manchester United from 2002 to 2014, says all these players can still be welcomed back by their teammates, but it depends on their professionalism.

"I don't know what will happen in the winter time".
