Arsene Wenger has rustled the Arsenal fanbase yet again after revealing that both Sanchez and Ozil could leave in January. "I always said the fact that we didn't find an agreement previous year doesn't mean the player will necessarily leave".
"It is possible", Wenger told a press conference ahead of his side's trip to Watford on Saturday.
Wenger said that there was no deadline on reaching agreement but, when asked if he could "cut" his losses in January, he said: "Once you are in our situation, you envisage every solution".
"The player looks happy".
"Wenger is clearly anticipating that Sanchez will be very low when he returns from the global break". "At the moment, we are not close enough to announce anything".
On Sanchez, Wenger said: "I will have to speak to him".

Wenger's stars Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey are both going to miss out on the 2018 World Cup after Chile and Wales lost in their qualifiers over the past week.
'It was very physical and mentally I will have to assess the situation'.
"Sanchez is a lion who wants to play football and I do not expect him to sulk".
Asked if he was anxious about Sanchez's mental state, Wenger said: "I will have to speak to him".
He could not guide his country to World Cup qualification, and Wenger admits he does not know the effect it will have on the player.
Another possible departure from Arsenal in January is Jack Wilshere, after reports indicated he was considering leaving the club in order to force his way into England's World Cup squad. "I will always appreciate him and I will always wish him the best wherever he goes".
