OnePlus will launch its next "flagship killer", the OnePlus 5T, on Thursday, November 16. It's been thought that the OnePlus 5T would launch around the $599 mark, and this comment further implies that this could be the case.
OnePlus has been teasing the new device for weeks, and it is expected to feature a tall, almost edge-to-edge 6-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, similar to today's other flagship smartphones.
We've already seen a bunch of leaks showing the OnePlus 5T design and its specs, but the following image gives us our best look at the upcoming OnePlus handset. The latest crop of information also includes a GFXBench leak. The company is rumored to have equipped the phone with a stunning 19MP front camera.
Meanwhile, OnePlus 5T has been spotted on GFXBench. The OnePlus 5T may still use the Snapdragon 835 since the Snapdragon 845 is not expected to be released until 2018 alongside similar memory options.
Announced via the company's forums today, OnePlus will be hosting an event in New York City on November 16th where it will unveil the OnePlus 5T.
Tickets will go on sale from November 8 at 12pm local time, if you fancy hopping over to hipster heaven for the launch event. Without details on the phone, many OP fans are fretting about whether they should be setting aside the cash to order the phone. It also stated that phone would continue to have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Reports also suggest that the OnePlus 5T will highlight a huge improvement over the OnePlus 5 dual camera module. NY is the answer to the question, somewhere near West 34th and Broadway in Manhattan. So, that being said, chances are, OnePlus 5T may launch in New York City first.
