Logan Paul Loses Youtube Ads Over Tasered Rat and Tide Pods Scandal

"After careful consideration, we have chose to temporarily suspend ads on Logan Paul's YouTube channels", a YouTube spokesperson said in a statement sent to HuffPost.

Following another insensitive and controversial video, YouTube said Friday that it has suspended all advertising on video blogger Logan Paul's channels.

He was also the target of animal rights critics who took offense with Paul's video depicting him taking a koi fish out of a pound and then placing the animal on the ground and tasing dead rats.

After filming a suicide victim's dead body, terrorizing Japanese citizens with tasteless pranks, and exhibiting racism towards Asians in the past, Logan Paul has finally done something unforgivable in the eyes of YouTube.

Though YouTube has never revealed how much Paul makes from the website, Socialblade, a YouTube analytics site, estimates that the vlogger earns up to $1.2 million a month in ad revenue.

"This is not a decision we made lightly", a YouTube spokesman said in a statement to The Washington Post. He has also used inappropriate tags for videos and most egregiously, encouraged people to participate in the Tide Pod Challenge in which people eat Tide Pod detergent packs.

If Paul continues to violate YouTube's policies, ads could be permanently disabled from his channel, per YouTube's guidelines.

It's only a matter of time before Logan Paul is back to make a tearful apology now that his income stream has been cut off. We may remove a channel from Google Preferred and also suspend, cancel or remove a creator's YouTube Original.

According to YouTube, this behavior includes a number of different incidents.

Neither Paul nor his representatives have commented on YouTube's recent decision. The youtuber didn't appear noticeably humbler than ever before his hiatus.

YouTube said his actions could "damage" the wider video-making community.

It's clear that Paul is far from a good role model, and many viewers think so, so it's unclear why YouTube chose to keep him on after demonetizing his videos. But for now, Paul, who previous year spent $6.6 million on a house, will still be receiving income from his line of merchandise that he has been pushing in his videos. Crucify me, vilify me, and I can promise you one thing, guys.
