Luke Wilson, pro golfer Bill Haas involved in crash that killed one

Legally Blonde star Luke Wilson has been involved in a fatal auto crash that killed one driver and left two injured.

The two cars collided on a residential block in the wealthy Pacific Palisades neighborhood around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Los Angeles police Officer James Stoughton.

Actor Luke WIlson was also in the accident in another vehicle, according to CBS News reports.

Wilson's vehicle was clipped by a Ferrari, but he was able to leave the scene with no injuries, according to the Associated Press.

A fatal auto accident in California has left professional golfer, Bill Haas, injured and in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Wilson was driving the other vehicle in the two-car collision, a Toyota SUV, and "emerged without harm", per KTLA (via Beall). He reportedly suffered no broken bones and is experiencing pain and swelling in his leg. He's the son of longtime PGA Tour pro Jay Haas, and has appeared on 3 Presidents Cup teams.

Two passengers in the BMW were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Haas is a 6-time PGA Tour victor, and was the 2011 FedEx Cup Champion.

Haas has withdrawn from the Genesis Open and headed home to SC to recover, according to a joint statement from the PGA Tour and Haas' management company.

Haas was set to play in the PGA Tour's Genesis Open, at the nearby Riviera Country Club, starting on Thursday.

Haas, who has six wins on the PGA Tour, was to compete in this weekend's Genesis Open. He began the week No. 67 in the official World Golf Ranking.
