Lisa Bonet Says She Felt 'Sinister, Shadow' Energy From Bill Cosby

Lisa Bonet is opening up about the multiple allegations of sexual assault by dozens of women against Bill Cosby.

The A Different World star is speaking out against her former on-screen father. Cosby has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting over 60 women, USA Today reports.

Cosby is now accused of a range of sexual misconduct and assault allegations, spanning ten stated in the United States, and one Canadian province. When asked if the revelations of Cosby's behavior have changed her memories of her time on The Cosby Show, Bonet responded, "No, it's exactly as I remember it".

In an interview featured on the cover of Net-a-Porter, Bonet claimed that she was not surprised to learn about the allegations against the disgraced actor.

Cosby, 80, and Bonet, 50, were rumored to have a bad professional relationship, and a 1986 interview Bonet did with David Letterman didn't alleviate suspicions. "And that type of sinister, shadow energy can not be concealed", she revealed. She told the magazine, "And if I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago. There was just energy", Bonet said.

Does Bonet feel any schadenfreude towards Cosby, with whom she feuded about appearing nude in the 1987 film Angel Heart and her pregnancy and engagement to Lenny Kravitz? "The truth will set you free", she says.

"I don't need to say, 'I told you so, '" she added. But God also wants to play with Mother Earth.' I just thought: "my work is done!" "It's news to her as well".
