Fortnite Battle Royale iOS Invite Event Sign-Ups are Now Open

Fortnite is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Fortnite alone has roughly three and a half million active players at this very moment. The game won't be out for a while but the beta signups for the iOS version are now open for everyone.

Epic announced last week that Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile, to much fanfare.

"Thanks for your patience!"

If you're an Android user waiting for Fortnite on mobile, you'll also have to wait for a release "in the next few months". If you are on an Android device, please sign up by clicking the button above.

We'll be sure to keep you updated. Getting Ps4 and Xbox players to play together seems like something that'll never happen.

As for when this will be launched, unfortunately, Epic has not yet revealed a date.

With Fortnite Mobile recruits occurring later today, Epic Games and Microsoft have given fans crisp any desire for cross-stage play between the two support variants.

It should be noted that not everyone will get in at the same time, with email notifications the first step toward downloading the game.

Requirements: iOS 11 or later, an internet connected device, and an iPhone 6S/SE or later, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017 devices.

The problem though is how you actually control the game, as Fortnite has a lot of buttons - even for a shooter - and they're not well suited to playing on a touchscreen.

What do I need to play Fortnite mobile? That way you can flag an issue before it becomes a bigger problem.

Is Fortnite Battle Royale on Android and iOS going to really be the full game?

"Ready to play Fortnite Battle Royale on your iOS device?" the post reads. "The same game on all platforms".

The latter was only made available to the Xbox One a while ago, so Fortnite now looks to be the best option for PS4 owners.
