But in the case of Solo: A Star Wars Story, the initial meeting of Han Solo and Lando Calrissian looks like it might be something special.

The trailer was packed with set pieces and even some awesome throwbacks to classic Star Wars moments, but was it enough to get people excited for the new movie?

"Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in 'Solo: A Star Wars Story, ' an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy". While not a huge Star Wars fan, I'll admit that this trailer is a much better look at the film than we've received in the past. Based on Kylo Ren's quote about the past basically being the entire gist of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, I'm going to assume this line by Harrelson will be the gist of Solo. The trailer opens with Qi'Ra played by Emilia Clarke (famously known as Daenerys Targarean in Game of Thrones) asking Alden Ehrenreich aka Han Solo what was he after - revenge, money or something else? Donald Glover as young Lando is just ideal. Young Solo is shown as an ambitious flyboy who drops out of the fight academy and enlists with a rogue band led by Woody Harrelson's Tobias Beckett.

Joonas Suotamo, left, as Chewbacca and Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo appear in a scene from "Solo: A Star Wars Story". I know I'll be waiting for both Beckett and Qi'Ra to double cross Han.

Sure, I'm kind of assuming a lot from this trailer, but there's only one way to find out if I'm right, and I have a good feeling about it. Science Fiction and westerns have a long and fantastic history together, and Ron Howard isn't a bad director so. maybe this will be fun.
