Everything Square Enix announced at its E3 2018 press briefing

Square Enix has announced a new game called The Quiet Man, and released its announcement trailer.

What was disappointing though was that there was no mention at all of Square Enix's Avengers game, which a year ago they'd implied would be revealed at E3.

Additionally, Square Enix announced it will release a PlayStation 4 Pro Limited Edition and Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package including Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 HD Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue only on PlayStation 4.

While many E3 viewers were currently ranking EA Play's conference at the lower end of the totem pole - some specifically for its lack of Skate 4 - some have now changed their minds to put Square Enix at the back of the pack.

Then again, we still have months to go before Kingdom Hearts III is released to the public. Unfortunately, all four titles were already part of Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference.

Kingdom Hearts III is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One January 25, 2019 in Japan and Asia, and January 29 in North America and Europe. You can decide if it's worth buying and if you choose to purchase, you can head over to the Square Enix US store. The title is Babylon's Fall, and you can see a brief teaser below. Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are joining up to make two groups of nerds incredibly happy.

Unfortunately for Square Enix, the slew of trailers thrown in felt underwhelming since majority have already been seen before- many of them were shown at Microsoft's conference on Sunday.

Not that we're complaining, as the sandbox destruction looked as fun as ever - especially with the new extreme weather effects and more versatile grapple hook. Not including even a glimpse of the Final Fantasy VII Remake and the unnamed The Avengers game in its E3 2018 presentation, however, is just a baffling move for the company.
