Huawei’s latest Porsche Design collab is a fancy Mate 20 Pro

Huawei insisted on stage that its Mate 20 phones are the best phones out there when it comes to processor and RAM speed, Wi-Fi downloads, Global Positioning System accuracy, camera performance, and battery performance.

The Mate 20 X is priced at €899 (Rs 76,400 approximately) for 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and it will go on sale starting November 26. In a rather unexpected move, though, Huawei also took the opportunity to present its latest Porsche Design device dubbed the Huawei Mate 20 RS. The triple rear camera of the smartphone is expected to consist of a 40Mp wide angle sensor, 20MP telephoto sensor and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens sensor. Both smartphones come with some variant of a notch - the Mate 20 with a smaller teardrop-shaped notch, and the Mate 20 Pro with a larger rectangular notch.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Huawei Mate 20 flaunts a 6.53-inch display, while the Mate 20 Pro flaunts a 6.39-inch display.

Live Emoji action is made possible with the Mate 20 Pro's front-facing collection of cameras and sensors.

One of the key differences between the Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro is the display and its different approaches.

Finally, there will be a Porsche Design edition of the Mate 20, just like with the Mate 10 and the P20 (sold as the Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS).

The Mate 20 Pro has a 4,200mAh battery, a little bump from that of its predecessor. The phone is tipped to come with 6GB of RAM and a 4,200mAh battery.

Moreover the publication declared the Android flagship will arrive with a 6.39-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3120x1440 pixels. The Mate 20 Pro supports 40W fast wired charging (up to 70% charge in 30 minutes) while the Mate 20 supports 22W fast wired charging, and both models support 15W fast wireless charging. The phone is said to have a 3.5mm audio jack at the top, and a glass back cover.

Way back in October of past year, Huawei introduced the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. Instead, Huawei opted for an in-display fingerprint sensor located just under the phone's display.

According to reports, the Huawei Mate 20 will be available at Euro 799 (around Rs 68,300), while the Mate 20 Pro is expected to be sold at Euro 1,080 (around Rs 92,300) in the European markets. It also comes with stylus support, making it a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note-series.

The even higher end Porsche Design Mate 20 RS model will start at 1,695 euros for the 256GB version with 8GB of RAM.
