In 16 games past year for the Dallas Cowboys, Bryant had 69 catches for 838 yards and six touchdowns.

Bryant, who turned 30 on Sunday, had not been with a team since he was released by the Dallas Cowboys in April.

"I'm always going to be me, you know, who I am. I asked him a lot of questions, and it's just cool to play with a guy like that".

The Cowboys released him in April before he was due $12.5 million this year - partly because of his production and partly due to a "fiery" personality that executive vice president Stephen Jones said could be "a distraction" - especially when it came to the development of young quarterback Dak Prescott. Bryant said he is "not at all" bitter about his departure from the Cowboys, adding, "That chapter's closed".

Bryant said he does not feel like he has something to prove after the way things ended in Dallas.
